About Ri News
An independent magazine for varied web writing
Ri News is an independent digital magazine built to hold a wide range of subjects. We value space for each piece to find its own shape and voice.
Our editorial mission
Room for every subject to breathe
Ri News was founded to give diverse web writers and topics an unhurried digital home. Rather than forcing every story into one niche, we let each subject set its own pace. Some pieces are concise observations; others are expanded longform investigations. Both have a place here, side by side.
Our hope is that readers can browse freely, follow a thread across unrelated topics, and find something unexpected beside what they came for.
How we publish
Principles behind every feature
Editorial selection favors clear explanations, grounded facts, and varied viewpoints.
Context
Verified context
Each piece offers the background a reader needs, with claims grounded in what can be checked and sourced.
Prose
Accessible writing
We aim for clear sentences and plain explanations, so complex subjects stay readable without losing depth.
Format
Reader-first layout
Headings, pacing, and length are chosen to suit the piece, so quick reads and longer features both feel easy to follow.
